New Zealand Tour – Add-On Tour | 2024
Travel Date: 17 NOVEMBER-18 NOVEMBER 2024
We are offering an “add on” 2-day / 2-night package, which can be added onto the end of the south island tour or the beginning of the north island tour.
- TranzCoastal Train
- Marlborough Winery tour

Participants taking the north island tour only plus add-on package, need to arrive in Christchurch on Saturday 16th November. The add-on tour package cost includes 1 nights accommodation in Christchurch.
SUN 17 November | D
Day 1 The TranzCoastal train departs Christchurch train station at 7 am and arrives in Blenheim at 12.10 pm.
Our group will be collected at the train station and taken on a half-day winery tour. Immerse yourself in the heart of the vineyards, visiting three wineries in the Marlborough wine region. Sample this region’s famous wines, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
After the tour, we will be transferred to our accommodation in Picton.
Accommodation for 1 night in a sea view unit is at the Harbour View Motel Picton
Dinner tonight is a Fish & Chips “picnic” at the waterfront parklands

Day 2 Breakfast at a local café
You might choose to take an optional cruise to Motuara Island Bird Sanctuary (additional cost). The cruise departs at 8 am and returns at 12.30 pm.
At 1.05 pm we will be transferred the short distance to the ferry terminal in Picton. Check-in for the Interislander ferry at 1.15 pm.
The Interislander ferry departs Picton at 2.15 pm and arrives in Wellington at approximately 5.45 pm.
We are offering an “add on” 2 day / 2 night package, which can be added onto the end of the south island tour or onto the beginning of the north island tour. The package cost includes either pre-night accommodation in Christchurch or post-night accommodation in Wellington (depending on which tour you are taking). For those participants joining both the South and North Island tours, there will be a discount for the add-on tour package cost (please enquire for details)
Day 1- Harbour View Motel Picton
- A$735.00 NETT PER ADULT IN TWO SHARE ROOM – (bedding configuration is 1 x Queen + 1 x single bed OR 2 x single beds for twin share and 1 x queen bed for double share)
- A$790.00 NETT PER ADULT IN SINGLE ROOM (1 bed)

- All services included in the quote are subject to availability at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change the itinerary should the quoted service become unavailable.
- 1 x Breakfast and 1 x Dinner is included in the tour cost. Tour costs do not include beverages and any additional meals/refreshments.
- Costs based on a minimum 12 participants should the group size decrease from quoted passenger numbers, then a recost based on decreased group size will be required.

- Final payment is due 45 days before the tour date
