Vivid Sydney is an annual creative festival focusing on music, ideas, and light. Each evening throughout Vivid Sydney, the city comes alive with mesmerising light projections displayed on iconic Sydney buildings from the Opera House to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Day 1 Arrive Sydney airport – flight own arrangements and cost.
Shared shuttle bus transfer to your accommodation
Normal check in time is 3.00pm. If your room is not ready to check in upon arrival, you will be able to leave your luggage at reception, until you return later today.
Accommodation for three nights in a Studio (1 queen bed for singles or couples) OR 1 bedroom apartment (2 single beds for Twin share) is at the Meriton Sussex Street
Free time, until meeting at 5pm in the Meriton foyer and taking the short walk to Sydney Tower. Check in for dinner in the Feast Restaurant which is booked from 5.30pm. See the city at twilight and watch the vivid lights turn on for the evening at 6pm.
Our dinner concludes at 7pm, when you will have free time to return to the accommodation, or perhaps make your way to any of the districts where the vivid festival installations are featured (central station, the goods line, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo)

Day 2 Continental breakfast provisions supplied for you to enjoy in your room.
Free morning to enjoy at your leisure.
You may choose to relax, or perhaps do some shopping or sightseeing.
Optional activity ~ visit the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon Lookout and Museum (additional cost) – closes at 4pm over vivid event.
Please meet our group at 2.00pm, at the Tea Cosy located in The Rocks, for their grandstand tea….Enjoy scones like nanna used to make! Tucked into the back of a 1870s heritage listed building in Sydney’s historical Rocks area this cute café is a hidden gem.
At the conclusion of afternoon tea, you have free time to look around the Rocks precinct or the Rocks markets.
Meet our group at 5.45pm (location in the Rocks to be advised) when we will take a stroll around the iconic vivid festival installations, in the Rocks and Circular Quay. See the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon, Customs House projections and many more. Our walk will conclude in Circular Quay at around 7pm-7.30pm.
Afterwards, we will visit a Vivid exhibition (the activity will be advised closer to the event, after vivid event details have been released)

Wildlights at Taronga Zoo (subject to this activity being offered in 2025)
After our visit, return from Circular Quay OR Taronga Park on public transport (light rail/ bus or train) to Town Hall and then take the short walk to our accommdoation.

Day 3 Continental breakfast provisions supplied for you to enjoy in your room.
This morning we take the train from Town Hall station to Milsons Point and make our way to Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden.
One of the most spectacular public gardens in Sydney, Wendy’s Secret Garden has been continuously created like a giant living painting since 1992, by Wendy Whiteley, wife and muse of Australia’s eminent artist, Brett Whiteley.
Wendy’s Secret Garden is nestled in Lavender Bay, just a short walk from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Explore the tiered gardens with flowering plants, as well as views to the Harbour Bridge. Pathways lead to striking sculptures that range from fine works to rustic pieces.
After our visit, we will take the short ferry journey from Milsons Point to Circular Quay to check in for our Sydney Opera House tour.
Discover the history, architecture and extraordinary story of Sydney’s Opera House on their one hour guided tour. You’ve seen the outside but that’s only half the story. Beneath the magnificent sails are incredible spaces and stories. Learn about the controversial history, unforgettable performances
and exciting future of the Sydney Opera House. Experience the House up close and personal, on this tour visit some of the Opera House’s venues and theatres.
Please note that as this is a busy performing arts centre, venues and theatres are subject to availability at the time of your tour.
Free time for the remainder of this afternoon.
Early this evening meet our group in the Meriton foyer, and we take the short walk to Kings Street wharf to check in for our Vivid dinner cruise (3 course set menu dinner) at 6.30pm. The cruise departs King
Street wharf at 7.00pm. Walk back to the Meriton after disembarking the cruise at 9.45pm.

Day 4 Continental breakfast provisions supplied for you to enjoy in your room. Please check out of your room by their regular check out time of 10am. You will be able to leave your luggage at reception. Free time to enjoy at your leisure until your Airport Suttle bus transfer pick up.
